I Visited Sunset Today.  The work is coming along quite nicely, and the track is taking shape. With the banking, I believe this track is going to be one of, if not, the Fastest in the Country. Great Job. See more pictures in the Sunset Construction Gallery.

Pretty Good Daytona 500 Race today. Congratulations to Jamie McMurray of Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing on the win… I would have preferred Carl Edwards, but McMurray earned it. Cool Temperatures, Potholes, Bumper to Bumper Cars, Big Wrecks, Endless Road Repairs… Sorta sounds like Highway 400 between 88 & 89 on most days.

One of the Hi-Lights at the 2010 CME show was a Q&A and Autograph session with NASCAR driver and 2009 Daytona 500 Winner Matt Kenseth. Kenseth switches from Long Time Sponsor, DeWalt and will be driving the #17 Crown Royal Roush/Fenway Ford in 2010.

Sunset Speedway had a prominent presence at the 2010 Canadian Motorsports Expo, held at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
